Summary: I can't say enough wonderful things about Casa Mar Y Sol. The house is absolutely stunning... perfect for a fun girls' trip or a family getaway. There are plenty of spacious, beautifully decorated rooms with lots of outdoor space and a gorgeous view of the beach. The adorable house mom prepared a fabulous traditional Costa Rican breakfast (eggs, rice and beans, fresh fruit, smoothies,...) every morning as well as homemade guacamole and salsa every afternoon. Additionally she would take care of all of our laundry every day! We spent the days hiking, paddle boarding, kayaking, lounging by the pool or the beach. We had fabulous massages at the new spa on the property as well as yoga with a spectacular view of the ocean. There are plenty of activities to keep everyone busy and the concierge is always happy to suggest fun activities off the property which we all really enjoyed (a sunset catamaran tour with snorkeling and another great meal, ATV rides,...). Every evening we watched an amazing sun set either from the beach or from the fun hotel a short walk from the house. I absolutely love Las Catalinas and in particular Casa Mar Y Sol. I hope to be able to come back soon!!
